What is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files, given ID tags that are stored on your computer's browser directory or program data subfolders. Cookies are created when you visit a website that is designed to:
• Track your movements within a website
• Help you resume where you left off
• Remember your registered login and other customisation functions.
Cookies usually don't contain much information except for the web address of the website that created the cookie, the duration of the cookie's abilities and effects, and a random number. Due to the little amount of information a cookie contains, it usually cannot be used to reveal your identity or personally identifying information.
Why do we use Cookies?
GFP Agriculture use cookies to help improve a user's experience of our website. We use them to track the most/least popular pages so we can see what users are most interested in and which areas we can improve to increase user interest.
We also use cookies as a security measure to make sure users who log into our site can access all the functionality that they expect. Additionally they are used to help remember any items that you add to your basket whilst shopping to make the checkout process easier when returning to the site. Frontier does not use cookies to identify individual users.
